I love this sharpener! I can't believe how excited I am about this! I touched up every day and used my previous sharpener until it finally died. Choose this one after reading all the reviews on all available ones. I am VERY glad I chose this one! There is a switch on the side that adjusts the sharpness of the tip. It is battery operated and electric. It's nice and compact. The chip is holding up pretty well. It's fast and sharpens the same every time! This is very important to me as I draw every day and colored pencils are expensive and sometimes fragile. I went through all my pencils, put on a sharp point and smoothed out the off-center point my other sharpener had left on some of them. worth your money!
