I would like to start by saying that I am a true music lover. These speakers have excellent sound quality IF they are installed correctly. Loudspeakers must be isolated in the wall! For optimal sound you need to isolate above and below the resonator. I have 8 inch models and they come with a template cut out. Make sure you mark your cleats first, leaving at least 1/4 of the space from the cleat to install. These speakers don't produce much bass because they weren't designed for that. The kit also comes with a tool for removing the grille. Take your time installing it and you will love the result. I've tested them under load and they easily handle 30-50 watts RMS (your car stereo draws max 15-20 watts to give you an idea), they are very loud and they also have crossovers built in. If your home theater has an equalizer I would recommend using that as it is flat which is a good thing. Go ahead and buy them and do it right and you won't be disappointed, they sound better than high end Polks and other brands.
