We love these bags in our house. We decided to get rid of the big baby diaper pail and went for these instead. We currently have a changing table in our living room where we spend most of our time with our little one. This comes in handy instead of running to the bedroom all day for a change. It works because we use these bags for dirty diapers. Having a diaper pail stinks even for those who are supposed to help with the odor. Nobody wants that smell in the living room. And it's just my weirdness, but I also think trash cans make the room dirtier, so we always hide them. I'm not sure where I would hide one in the common room. For our situation, these bags are a dream. We also use them when we travel. This is especially nice when you are visiting family. Not everyone has a place to get rid of smelly diapers. And nobody wants that smell to accumulate in their home. These bags ensure that the diaper can be thrown in any wastebasket without smelling. My only concern is the sticker holding the roll together. You take it from the first bag and leave. Unless you're like my husband and I, peeling it means punching a hole in the first bag every time because it's not the kind of sticker that just peels off the plastic well. It's a slight disappointment, but nothing that will stop me from using it. I found some cheaper scented dog bags and bought them because I was curious about the differences. These diaper bags are definitely wider and don't make it a problem to put a diaper in, even if you don't fold them all up (am I the only crazy person who folds up a diaper to throw away?). The roll fits easily into the dispenser. On the other hand, dog bags are long and narrow, so I really feel like they contain less plastic waste (I can still stuff diapers in them, just the hole isn't that big). They also fit into the dispenser, it's just not that easy. I definitely don't like putting a diaper in one of the large diaper bags - this can change as the toddler gets older and the diapers get bigger - so I'm not sure where I'm going in a doggy bag or diaper bag. Problem. The price can currently go down.
