You'll need to cut the extra tab to fit in.

If you point the plug of your lightbulb towards you so you can look inside and see the pins you will see that there is a little tab at the top and there is another little tab at the bottom. Car seat belts are only designed for the tongue at the top where they snap. On your fork, the top is marked "+" and "-", this is the correct side for the tongue. The way I solved this problem was to take a utility knife and remove the edge on the bottom. Then the plug looks identical to the factory light bulb.
