Using a pumice stone to remove a hard ring of water from a toilet bowl is a standard practice in the homes I clean as most of them have VERY hard water. The presence of a long handle allowed me to use it without dipping the glove in the toilet water. Since the best way to use it is to move it up and down to avoid scratching the porcelain bowl, the handle also helped a lot. Real pumice is a good size and doesn't wear out too quickly. All in all it was a great purchase and I will be getting more for my cleaning crew!
