I love gut. This allows me to leave my dog in the kennel and not worry about running out of water. I had these 5 gallon automatic water dispensers and my dog (HUSKY) either destroyed them or spilled all the water on the floor. This gut is much stronger and the fact that I could screw it anywhere kept my husky from shedding or breaking. What destroyed them was the hose that came with the package. I won't base my review on this hose because I knew she'd been trying to destroy it to stop her for a week. If you have pets with strong jaws, I would recommend making your own metal tubing or buying stronger stainless steel tubing so they don't chew on it. Overall I'm very satisfied and glad I don't have to worry about my husky running out of water in hot Texas.
