The purchase brought only positive emotions.
I have been using VICTORINOX knives and multi-tools for almost 30 years. Hong Konganent companions in a campaign of any category of complexity. I don’t recommend multitools for purchase: they are too heavy for a hike and not for 2022 cold weather - holding an all-metal multifunctional tool in your hand in winter, cold, uncomfortable and slippery to the point of madness, is still a pleasure :) For a long time I wanted to buy the Rescue Tool model, but the high price and the presence in the arsenal of my favorite old model VICTORINOX Forester stopped me. It has everything you need for life and nothing more. In general, I bought the Rescue Tool and have no regrets: for such a price, it is an excellent New Year's gift for unexpected adventures in an unpredictable urban environment.
- The original Swiss knife, stable in its quality and reliability. From experience: a highly demanded serrated blade in hiking with the possibility of using it with one hand. The presence of a saw for wood and a saw for auto glass (a "chip" of this knife, as well as a nozzle for hitting tempered glass). The set already has a branded case: it is light, synthetic, well-tailored, strong - a useful accessory.
- This product is niche, NOT UNIVERSAL and NOT FOR ALL OCCASIONS. The main disadvantage of the lifeguard knife: NO CAN OPENER. An amazing thing: the manufacturer offers us to disfigure the serreytor every time we open a can of sprat or stew. It’s strange that they didn’t think about it, because the rescuers (rescued) after the exploits want to eat :)
