I really wanted to love this tablet

a bit of backstory; i had to buy this because i lost my q11k v2 in the imelda storm flood last september. this seemed like an optimal replacement, slightly cheaper, and very new from HUION.i use this to do animation and illustrations regularly as im a freelancer, and figured hey this looks pretty cool! lets check it out. well, upon receiving it i originally thought everything was perfect. after one night of playing around is when i realized, to my horror, the pen nib is worn down considerably. i had only been drawing with it for about 2 hours, and it was mostly doodling. i think its because it has a texture on the tablet pad, something the other tablets ive used dont.not a big problem exactly because huion provides you with like 8 extra nibs when you buy this (or any other recent product), but it just feels annoying. the pen can get sharp edged and scratch the pad, very early on when using it. you would think they would have tested this!i also notice when im using it as just a cursor/mouse mover that when pressing down in place (so not fast clicks) spasms the cursor on screen a little bit. not a huge problem, but definitely noticeable. the dial is a little trigger happy, too, and as im left handed i keep bumping into it and scrolling unintentionally.other than these issues, everything seems cool! better controls for pen pressure on the huion tablet settings program than the other huion products ive had. same great pressure levels and tilt. just not my type of tablet, i suppose.
