Review on πŸ‘ž Sunbeam Door Shoe Rack - White, Holds 36 Pairs by Jessica Hill

More stable than looks. highlighted.

I used to have shoe racks in the door. It was the easiest to assemble. The plastic frame doesn't seem very strong and I'm sure if you handle it too hard it can easily break. But it's strong enough for this rack. The instructions are in the ziploc that holds the screws. But the assembly is quite understandable. I used a small hammer to tap the posts to make sure they were fully seated in their sockets. If you're not using a hammer, make sure you push them in firmly. If you don't push them all the way in, they may fall apart. They are intended for screwing into the cabinet door with different pitches. You may be able to walk away without this, but posture will wobble. Due to the way the pieces fit together, this can also cause them to fall apart. When screwed in, it is much stronger. The top isn't bolted, and the hooks for the door connect to the rack in a weird way. This worries me that the top isn't as stable, but I'm hoping the point at which it is screwed in helps keep it stable. One of the screws I supplied was broken. Luckily I have a few that can be used as sleepers. They work better in heels than flats. And with the feet on the boots you have to get creative, there isn't much space between tiers for the boots. Overall I think it was a good purchase. $32 seems like a lot. I definitely wouldn't pay more. But that seems to be the usual price tag for shoe racks. The amount of shoes that can be stored in it depends on the type of shoes and the space required. Shoes are much easier to get on and off the shelf. More like a shelf than a hook. So far I recommend this product.
