The insulating material of the switch contact melts
The insulating material of the switch contact is made of thin, soft plastic. In contact with the heater, the insulating plastic melts and deforms. This caused one of the contacts to become loose, resulting in buckling and switching with an intermittent connection. It only took 2 weeks. Repaired with JB welding and ordered a new square D switch. Rather spend a few euros more and buy a Square D.
