I already had a pair of these boots which I picked up from DSW. They are so comfortable I was worried about what I would do when they wore out so I clicked on Revain and bought a pair in the only color they had left in my size. I thought I might not like them after a while because they have a non-removable insole and lately I had to add a special insole to my shoes due to some hip issues, but my hips and knees really like these shoes. the way they are. The shoe is very light and the foam insole cushions. They are pretty tight for trainers without laces. I almost always wear size 8 Saucony shoes and this size fits me well in these shoes. I usually wear a size 7 1/2 in New Balance and often get away with a 7 in Crocs (for sizing reference). elliptical) with them so I can't attest to how they will be for running but I think they are good for cross training.
