I regret buying this bike rack. It was attached to the back of our van and was meant to hold two kids bikes. We were nervous from the start that it wouldn't last, we had to follow that instinct. Instead we used bungee cords to add more reinforcement. Luckily we at least made it, because otherwise our daughter's bike could have caused a serious accident on the motorway. The bike rack failed and buckled under the weight. The clasps came loose, the straps broke, and the ONLY thing that helped the bike was our extra elastic cord. I don't know what I would do if it hurt someone!
