Reviewed May 26, 2020 Hands on and feel research and personal reviews at local shops. My main goals for the lock are 1) a reliable touchpad, 2) auto-lock after 30 seconds, and 3) Z-Wave Plus. Two out of three.1) Reliable touchpad. It was excellent. I was able to install the code and my family uses it every day. 2) Automatic lock. This was necessary to ensure the security of the home. I love this feature. This is a feature because there are DIP switches inside the lock to turn it on and off.3) Z-Wave Plus. This is the worst implementation of Z-Wave Plus I've ever seen. I have over 20 GE smart light switches, dimmers and other devices. Everything else is fine except for this one. From the 1st day he writes "Failed to connect to the network". If you absolutely need it, pass this lock on. CUSTOMER SERVICE. Terrible. I immediately opened a ticket and was contacted quickly. That's where customer service ends. Several times I've requested a status update with no response. I have repeatedly asked for updates as Revain only has a 30 day guarantee. My case is 20200 ***** 22 in case anyone from Kwikset wants to look into this. May 31, 2020: Update: No response from customer support. The status of the request remains "pending customer" although I have posted several comments below without their response.
