Use this lock with caution
This lock was purchased with a key to attach a mountain bike to a luggage rack. Worked well for the first few weeks. I suddenly discovered that the key doesn't open the mechanism no matter how hard I try. Luckily the bike wasn't bolted to the lock, otherwise it would have taken powerful bolt cutters to loosen it. I assume that even if a little dirt or sand gets in it will completely ruin the mechanism. Tried silicone grease. will not work
