My first beard straightener so I don't have anything that compares except with a comb and a blow dryer. However, this hair straightener does what it's supposed to do; I use it in 360° settings, sometimes even 400° as I have thick facial hair. I usually use it every morning, sometimes daily depending on how unruly my beard gets throughout the day. It only takes about a minute for the straightener to heat up and about the same time to straighten my beard. I think I should mention that I have a goatee, not a full beard.
