Review on 💧 Delta RP48717 Single Lever Handle Kit in Chrome: Sleek and Durable Upgrade for Faucets by Todd Mohr

A worthy replacement for the Delta Monitor 1400 series that is often installed by most installers. This handle fits the Delta RP19804 cartridge assembly. I have included photos of both the old handle and the new replacement. It's not really a kit. It's just a knob and a set screw, but very easy to install. You will need to move the existing socket forward a little to fill the gap left by installing this new knob. Even after the sleeve has been pushed forward, there is only a very small gap, which is why I only give it four stars. Just a small cosmetic issue as you can see in the photo but probably won't bother most people. They sell a gasket to eliminate that small gap. It's just a small piece of plastic that fits into the chrome sleeve before you reattach the sleeve. This is "Delta Faucet RP29569 Spacer". This whole project is a very simple upgrade. Literally takes about 5 minutes. The set screw uses a 3/32 hex wrench. The instructions don't list the size so I thought I might save you the hassle of fumbling around with different size allen keys. Another tip: Put some anti-seize on the threads of the set screw. Set screws on shower handles are notorious for corroding and getting stuck years later when you need to remove the handle.
