Review on Breastfeeding Dresses: Smallshow Women'S Short Sleeve Patchwork Nursing Dresses by Elijah Harvey

Not especially flattering postpartum

I'm a little disappointed with this dress. I like how soft and lightweight it is, and the fabric colors and pattern are very pretty. But I feel like it just isn't that flattering on my postpartum body, primarily because it has an elastic under the bust which accentuates my stomach pooch. I'm not that far from my pre-pregnancy weight, but I'm dealing with a bad case of diastasis recti, so the tummy bump isn't going to be a quick fix. I'm worried that by the time I feel comfortable in the dress, I'm not going to be breastfeeding anyway. For reference, I'm 5' 1" and about 150 lbs pre-pregnancy, and I got a size Large. I don't think I could have gone up a size without the crisscross breastfeeding access under the top panel hanging loose. With all that said, the quality of the dress seems nice, the breastfeeding access is good, and the fabric is soft and comfy. And it would probably be an adorable maternity dress when you want to show off your baby bump. Too bad I didn't get it until after delivery.
