The system works, but the receiver has an almost unbearable background hum and the microphone makes a loud crackling noise when switched on. For the price, it might be fine for my limited, occasional use of the PA, but it's far from a "professional" sound and I think singers might be looking for better quality, especially if they intend to flip the switch to use microphone during the performance.
