Easy replacement within minutes, multiple tools make the job much easier. (I used a wrench and needle nose pliers.) The trick to removing the old block is to depress the small retaining ring while pulling on the hose. This can be a little tricky if you're just using your fingers, so I used the jaws of a crescent wrench to press down on the ring. Adjust the wrench so that it sits freely on the hose, then press the sides of the jaws against the retaining ring to apply pressure and you can easily pull out the old hose. Needle nose pliers were used to extract and install the retaining spring. If you have good dexterity and finger strength you should be able to install it without tools.
