I bought these for fear of having leftovers. I live in Florida and the water is pretty hard here so I figured there was a high risk of this happening so I only bought one pack. Air conditioning. I'm not 100% sure this is the solution but I used a 7th generation fabric softener and my dishes came out clean. (By the way, I did a very small test load before I might have ruined the entire wash.) Why bother, especially if you've never used rinse aid before? My personal reason is that this is one of the few brands that I know and love because 1. They don't test their products on animals. 2. It is a more environmentally friendly company than the usual big corporate store brand. The first few ingredients are also much softer, the jam doesn't contain any heavy chemicals but just enough to get everything clean. I order all cleaning products from them and am constantly trying different scents. They're not overwhelming, but they're not so diluted either that you wonder why you bother with the aroma in the first place. I can usually buy all of their stuff in bulk (sets of 6 or 4) which saves me the number of orders. at any time. I love the method so I decided to give it a try knowing the risk and I am very happy that this is another product from them that I can endorse and use.
