UPDATED REVIEW - Contacted customer service and offered to fix the issue, got replacement needles at no extra cost. The second pair was excellent, so far no problems have been noticed. It knits well, doesn't stick to the yarn and has a smooth feel. Within MINUTES of receiving the item I was excitedly trying to attach a replacement cable but unfortunately the wooden piece popped out right away. I could not use this product at all. I was very upset, looking forward to completing the bag for a friend. I have invested in many Knit Picks products such as needles/thread and accessories and this is my first experience of poor workmanship. I'm hoping to save with Gorilla Glue but not sure if it will be strong enough.
