The adapter in question has 2 USB-A ports and 2 USB-C ports (one is used for charging). So there are just a few things that don't impress me too much. Everything works and works perfectly. Chargers work well, mice work, and external hard drives can be used. This adapter partially covers the speakers and does not fit very securely/tightly into the iPad's USB-C port. Under no circumstances should the loudspeakers be partially covered. When you take rails off it doesn't seem very safe. I'm not saying it will fall out easily, but definitely with two hands when unplugging USB devices. My iPad is a 2018 model so this might be my port. Also, this adapter is great to have on hand. I have several adapters from different brands. I like the "low profile" of this adapter compared to wired ones. Seems sturdy and durable enough for everyday use. The plastic case feels hollow but is still solid. By that I don't mean that it will break immediately due to the drop in table height. The color isn't quite the same as space gray iPads, but it doesn't bother. Although I probably would have settled in other colors. For example, black would be nice because my case is black. One thing I noticed at night is the blue LED. If you look straight at this thing it's not too bright. At any other angle it will pierce when mounted where the connector names are visible from the front. So I have to paint it or something because it's an awkward sight at night. For example I have an adapter where the LED is actually covered with shaded plastic so it's always shaded. Some of these things are a bit picky. this is only my opinion. I will say, but for portability, this thing is small and light. It's about the size of your palm and thin enough to fit in standard cases or even tablet cases. Overall it works as expected, I mainly use USB-A and USB-C ports. I checked HDMI and everything seemed fine (audio/video). If you are looking for such an adapter, I would recommend trying it out. I'm not saying it's better than others, but that it works properly. I would say my favorite thing about this adapter is the slim design and connectivity options. Personally, I'm looking/waiting for an adapter with all USB-C ports. Like 3 for data/charging, 1 for power and HDMI. The ethernet port and SD card slots are a plus for me, but not essential.
