Not very impressed with the quality

I recently brought a doodle which is 8 weeks old . And I bought this for my doodle. After receiving this in mail . I am not impressed with the quality . And I noticed it has metal balls in the bottle dispenser pipe where the puppy will suck the water .I am scared if the tip of the pipe accidentally opens, it can choke my puppy . I am bit reluctant to give it to my pup. I am thinking to keep this in the krate .
