The buffer fills up quickly in burst mode. The manufacturer did not provide control contacts in the battery compartment for using battery handles, in this particular model. When buying a battery grip, in order for the shutter button on it to work, you must use the short synchronization wire that comes with the pen. It does not interfere, but it would be more aesthetically pleasing without it.
