Review on ๐Ÿช‘ Premium Winsome 94084 Satori Stool: Exquisite 24" Walnut Seating Solution by Tina Wells

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not bad if you replace the long screws that come with the stool.

I bought two of these chairs along with two similar inexpensive Target stools that I already had. So my rating is based on similarly priced stools - although the stools on sale were a bit cheaper - and not compared to handmade stools or anything else that could have been paid many times more for. These stools weren't bad, except for a roughness on one of the two I encountered (see first photo). The main downside in this category is that the seat of the stools is not a solid board but thinner and shorter strips joined together with fingers and it is not walnut or even a walnut finish (see second picture ). The aftertaste is dull, dark cherry. Neither of these issues detracts from the usefulness of chairs, but both deserve attention. The other two photos show the Winsome stool next to the stool I got from Target. In comparison, it's easy to see that the attractive finish resembles cherry rather than walnut. The assembly proved to be a greater challenge. The included hardware, as other reviewers have pointed out, is not of very good quality. This wasn't a problem with any of the shorter screws, but the hex heads on the two longer screws ripped off before I screwed them all the way in. I'd recommend replacing the four longer screws with something from your local hardware store if you want to avoid a headache and hassle. These stools took a lot longer to assemble than the ones I bought from Target as the hardware had to be reworked and I had to replace the screws. All in all, if you're looking for something that doesn't need to be bug free and you have the extra hardware and patience. For assembly, this is not a bad choice.
