First I want to say that I have or have over a hundred headphones, headsets, from very cheap to quite expensive ($700). I'm by no means a music lover, but I do enjoy listening to headphones because they enhance the stereo experience and generally improve sound quality over regular speakers. Why do I only give Dolphin Song Bluetooth 5.0 two stars? TWS wireless stereo headphones? Here's what I like about them: - Small size. You can easily carry it in your pocket. USB-C charging port. This usually means faster loading times. - Satisfactory battery life (about 3 hours on a single charge) - On-ear control (has its pros and cons) - IPX4 rating (means sweatproof) - Bluetooth 5.0 (works well). I tested it and the link only broke where my other good BT 5.0 headsets don't work either. What I like a lot less: - No headphone adapter for my ear size (large)? Obviously they are not intended to be used with adapters. As a result, I have no seal and no feeling of fullness. The result is a metallic sound: too many highs, no good mids and no real bass. I was able to get a better (albeit rather average) sound after struggling to get them at the right angle, but the headphones moved out of position very quickly with sweat and all the hard work of placing them was wasted. As I just said, the earbuds wiggle in my ears once I've worked up a bit of a sweat, and when trying to adjust them I often turn off the music or skip to the next or previous song. This robs me of the joy of listening to music with these headphones and makes them impractical for sports or anything else where you can break a sweat. Conclusion: The lack of headphone adapters is a handicap for me. If you have a small or medium ear canal it might fit you very well, but I can't endorse a product that doesn't work well for everyone, especially when it mentions it should work. I know I shouldn't expect audiophile quality and experience for $25, but there is a minimum level of quality that should be offered to anyone purchasing this set and it isn't. 2 stars.
