I bought this lock because it was the only one that fit the smaller key cutout on my Dell laptops. When I put the lock in the hole for my Dell XPS 15 it goes in with no problem. However, when I put the lock in the hole for my Dell Latitude 3410, the spring-loaded latch doesn't always close. I have to turn the lock until it reaches the point where the bolt is fully closed to its original position. Then I can lock it. When it comes time to remove the lock, I have to twist it into the right position for it to pop out. I only had this problem on my Dell Latitude.
