I recently purchased new outdoor mats for our front and back doors. They are made from nautical rope and their only disadvantage is that they do not stay in place unless a rug pad is used.I did my usual due diligence, checking various websites to see what rug pads are considered to be the most suitable and durable. The wirecutter website, which I have found to be a reliable place to get legitimate and detailed reviews, recommended this specific rug pad, so I ordered three of them. One for each of our outside mats.It was easy to trim them to the appropriate size, and they work perfectly with our nautical rope mats. They keep the mat from slipping and sliding away, and they don't add much height (or depth, however you look at it) to the overall height (or depth) of the mat.These pads are made with over 1lb of natural rubber per sq yard, are made in the USA, and come with a 10 year warranty. Note that the warranty is not mentioned here on Ebay. I obtained that information from the rugpadusa website directly.We've been using these for just a couple of months now, so I can't rate them on long term durability - but the 10 year warranty gives me some confidence that they will last.
