I was hoping to use it for my desktop that spans multiple PCs (a tower, three laptops and a Raspberry Pi). It beeped when connected to the device and immediately started working. I was very happy with it. However, a few things were starting to annoy me and it wasn't going very well for the setup I had in mind. Hotkeys, as far as I can tell, cannot be disabled. I doubt anyone uses Scroll Lock very often, so I don't think these hotkeys are that bad, but I use CTRL + arrow keys quite a bit, which annoys me. The bad news is when your hotkey clashes with the keyboard shortcuts you use regularly. There's also a middle mouse + left or right mouse shortcut, which I never use, but just as annoying is that it can't be disabled. At least with my mouse only left mouse, middle mouse and right mouse work. All other mouse buttons are not registered on my PC when connected through this device. I also noticed a bug where drag and drop sometimes, but not always, didn't work. When I clicked down and dragged, the mouse quickly let go and clicked drag a few times. I'm not sure what's causing this or what fixes it. My use case may be different from yours. If you use it to have one terminal to access multiple servers, this might come in handy for you! But if you're using it to set up a home PC, it might not be that great.
