Five stars because it's TOO supportive! I had ACDF surgery last July and tried SO MANY PILLS. This is the first that was too thick and too supportive. Every other pillow I've tried was either too damn flat and not supportive, or too steep but not supportive enough. When this pillow arrived it was flat like a pancake. Testimonials from people who said their pillows didn't swell. I have to assume they didn't follow the instructions. The packaging specifically states that you need to fluff and shake the pillow to get the crushed foam to foam again. It lasted a few days, I pumped it several times. There was a slight chemical smell at first, but that quickly dissipated. As soon as the foam swelled, I immediately added more foam to the pillow. Past experience with other pillows suggested that there was no way this thing could be supportive enough. I am exhausted. I acknowledge it. I had to take the foam back immediately. The next night I took another and the next. I even ended up taking out some of the original stuffing before it got too thick for my comfort. I'm amazed. I can't stress this enough: I'm SUPER PROFITABLE because of the fact that the pillows are a bit thick and dense. I'm stunned to find a pillow that finally beat even me in the "it can't be too thick or too tight" department. But the pillow is for you, and it's amazing! I sewed a lot: the zippers are of good quality and fit both the outer shell and the inner lining. 10/10 for this pillow. I'm seriously considering ordering another one.
