Efficiency 85%, switching frequency 375kHz, current 5A Isc

I measured the following: %efficiency 5.02V * 1.90A out / 12.12V * 1.92A in = 85.3% Efficiency Approximate Switching Frequency 375kHz Ripple Approximately 60mV (between loads tested above) Input 12.1V, 4.5A "short" (my DMM has a shunt of approximately 0.25 ohms ) output current, stabilization within seconds to 5A. Does it withstand 10A output? At 85% efficiency, this is 0.9 W power loss per 1 A output. The device is housed in a small plastic box with no exposed metal heat sink. I doubt it will take long to dissipate 9 watts. I would leave it at the output around 3A.
