I have a 2006 Mustang GT and the pinion shaft stop screw broke leaving about 2 threads inside. I couldn't use a pickaxe to twist out the leftovers so this was my last option. The square extractor couldn't grip tight enough to extract it, so I had the worst case. Both pilot screws were drilled off center. So if you pull the screw out to try the extractor and not deep enough, you can't be sure you're drilling in the same place. In addition, chips from drilling were left in both guide pins. Therefore four instead of five stars. Drill with the longer guide pin until you can no longer see the flutes of the drill. Anything shorter and you won't have a hole deep enough to grab the extractor. The extractor is tiny, but it's good. Be aware that this is delicate. I was able to lock everything without removing the right bearing cap. The drill doesn't require a lot of pressure, but you do need to apply some pressure to make it cut. Pull it out from time to time to remove the metal filings and dip it in cutting oil.
