I don't really pretend to be objective because I'm not really up to speed on today's cultural norms. After waiting for a decade, I've finally decided to buy a new motherboard. Purchased with no intention of overclocking. I wanted to put together a system that was both silent and cool, and it needed to have a power reserve. The motherboard containing the I7-9700 CPU worked properly when it was initially used. I'd like to have a conversation about the problems, which are obviously subjective. The board is adorned with glowing plastic casings, the function of which is not totally comprehended despite their presence. It appears that one of the plastic caps is intended to prevent heat from escaping through the south bridge where it is now hanging. An aluminum plate that has been crudely machined into the shape of a radiator can be found beneath the cap. Because of this, the temperature of the bridge can reach up to 50 degrees Celsius even when it is sitting still on the table. And what will happen when the motherboard is loaded into the case with the rest of the components? What about when you are picking up speed? Overclocking is how the payment is made. One star deducted because of this. The following describes how the processor fan operates: The fan is set to its lowest speed when the computer is in the idle state; nevertheless, as soon as you open a program like Google Chrome, the fan instantly begins to screech for a few seconds. The fan will begin to rotate in response to even the smallest strain placed on the processor. In the BIOS, there is a setting for a fan step up time delay that can be used to prevent this from happening. However, this configuration is ineffective. It appears like Asus is not going to find a solution to this issue because it is not unique to this particular model of the motherboard. On this particular day, the overseas Asus forum has a significant number of posts. And still another star deducted. In addition, the warning regarding dangerously low fan RPM does not function within the BIOS, despite the fact that the option is present. A system speaker, bolts for mounting the motherboard to the chassis, and an external temperature sensor are not included in the package, despite the fact that there is a connector for each of these components. It's the back of the book, if you were wondering. I had the impression that they were no longer producing these. And one star taken away. In general, after I used hot glue to attach a regular radiator to the hub, the temperature went down by 5 degrees. I am at a loss as to how to deal with the cooler's subpar performance as of right now. In a nutshell, I'm the one who gave myself hemorrhoids.
