Review on πŸ”’ LockNLube Fittings: Unbeatable, Best Selling, Long Lasting & Rebuildable Solution by Thomas Landis

Awesome little tool, definitely worth $

This is the first time I've bought an air operated grease gun since I recently installed something with cubic zirconia fittings for the first time. After reading a bit I realized that when dealing with the forces, airguns are the way to go (I picked up a cheaper OTC gun that seems great). As my car is very cramped (VW Golf R) and even if the gauges were in an easily accessible spot, it would probably still be difficult to hold the tool on the gauge, especially at the right angle. Also, lube can be expensive, so I wouldn't want to spill it for no reason. As it turns out, the ports are easy to reach, but keeping a linear press on them, especially without lifting, would be a real problem. This little bad boy makes things amazingly easy, my goodness, for some fittings I don't need to remove any parts - I just need to have enough space to install the part and that's it. Align coupling up, push down and lock onto fitting. Then you can leave it alone and just control your weapon. It was so effective that I wasn't sure the grease would penetrate until it was out of the socket. I've never done it the old fashioned way, but it seems like it's worth at least 5-10 minutes per adjustment (for a mechanic working in his shop). That alone justifies the price for me. I sent this to a couple of my acquaintances - a mechanic and a friend who grew up on a farm (and uses a farm shop for his work). Both of them immediately spent $30 and bought it. That confirms the price-performance ratio for me. Combined with the fact that it works as advertised I would say it's a great purchase. You won't regret almost doubling the cost of my grease gun!
