As others have pointed out, putting the antenna together is easy: just plug it into the TV, browse the local channels and you're done. Before purchasing the antenna I did a google search to see how many local stations were in my area. . Once I got the antenna, I was able to receive even more, including stations not broadcast by cable service. The picture quality is good, like a cable. I put the antenna on a stand next to the TV because I don't want to mount it on a wall or window. Even though the room isn't on the "optimal" side of my house, the reception is surprisingly good. I would recommend this product.
