I have ingrown hairs on my cheeks and under my chin. These tweezers go right under the hair and sometimes I can pull them out. If not, I use flat heads to extract the hair. I'm not sure about the negative reviews but so far this is the best remedy for uncovering ingrown hairs above the skin. They're like needles, so I had to be careful not to pierce myself. I spend a lot of time working on my ingrown hairs so I don't get whiteheads or small infections from the hair bumps. Would recommend to anyone who has problems with ingrown hairs. These tweezers helped me.
