I bought this mug because its adorable and luxurious bottles are amazing. I don't really understand the lid of this cup. Why is it just open without being able to close the mouth? It would be very easy to have a sliding mechanism there. I'm not an engineer, but I suspect that this design also creates problems with temperature control since it's only open, not closed, and has a lid. Because of this, I personally cannot use this mug unless I'm very careful with it. but actually I only bought it because I like the design, so I'm not upset. I just want them to give you the option to close the lid. I find it funny that one of the cues for checking this item is "tight," when the item literally has a hole that you can't close. it's more like a guaranteed leak.
