I have a prosthetic leg and try to avoid getting up in the middle of the night top put my leg on because it wakes my wife up, who also works a full time job and needs her sleep. People have expressed frustration in trying to help a loved one use these but honestly, its all about position of the body, tight seal and downward flow which is very hard to help someone achieve. I've found these bottles to be wonderful improvement over the hospital type of containers. If you remember to empty these immediately in the morning, rinse them at least three times and let drain upside down in a trash can to dry, they will last a long time without yellow build up. I also clean mine every other week by filling it with water and a few ounces of bleach and letting it sit for an hour to keep it deodorized.
