This is an induction hob. Very easy to use and clean. It also heats up the pan faster than any gas stove. This requires special cookware, but many pots and pans are suitable for induction if the bottom of the pan is magnetic. The hob heats up as the pan heats up, but the surface doesn't heat up for cooking. If you are looking for a great hob then this one is very good and at this price very comparable to other hob types. In addition, this hob is very safe to use with no flames and no heating elements.
