I have 3 of these devices at home, each in a separate room. The first is about 3 years old and works perfectly. Installation is very easy and great value for money. They are in strategic locations with lights plugged into the top connector and two USB cables on the bottom. One for the apple orchard and one for everything else (Alexa, Android, or Kindle). No matter what room I'm in and need to charge devices quickly, they're ready and waiting. The one in the family room is the newest and sits next to my favorite seating area so fast charging of things I've previously forgotten can continue while I'm still using it. It really worked for my phone and Kindle. I didn't buy devices at the same time, but each time I found a "good" place for a different one. The green light above is a kind of night light.
