I have bought these microphones twice. This is a good solution if your kids or teens are damaging the mic on their headset as you can plug this mic into your existing headset cable and it seems fine for use with in-game audio and discord audio . inexpensive enough that if they break it again you'll have a spare in your desk drawer. It's not that they are weak, but it can be very difficult for children and young people to work with this type of equipment. By having spare parts on hand at a reasonable price, you can prevent a "crisis" if the microphone dies (or is killed) mid-game. I don't know how good the sound quality is from these mics, but they seem to work well enough for teenagers to be able to hear each other.
