I have a machine that adjusts with a wing nut and spring. I wanted to reduce the friction between the wing nut and the panel it is pressed against. I bought these without expecting them to be as good as the 3-6 inch versions I use on other machines. I was surprised at the quality when I took it out of the box. I installed them and they were smooth. When I started the car the wing nuts were actually TOO SMOOTH. Now they were moving and the car was out of calibration! I had to remove them, but I have another machine in development and I wanted to make my own "lazy Susan"; I will use this now.
