After converting from a telephone to a cable Internet connection, this router was bought to replace the previous one. Of course, there is a noticeable difference between a cable connection and a WiFi connection. By the way, the cost is significantly greater in small provincial stores. The device was initially utilized as a backup, connected to Rostelecom, before the latter was brought back to the office. It is best to configure the device first without connecting to the network (to the PC only), and then plug in the plug from the main router. If the device is connected to another "locomotive," you will no longer be able to enter it; instead, when you enter the IP address, you will get into the Rostelecom or other main router. There are no configuration issues if it is the only one in the network. The LEDs on this type shine slowly and do not blink, making them less irritating, but they also make it hard to monitor network activity: if someone connects to the router via WiFi, the owner won't be aware of it. If the equipment is already functioning properly, it is preferable to avoid updating the firmware because there is no guarantee that something will go wrong. After the ate, some functionalities might stop working or the performance might be completely disturbed. The warranty will also be void.
