Absolutely no way these things have the strength advertised
Update, a few hours later. It seems this magnet is a little different than others in that it doesn't hold very well to a thin piece of sheet metal when other rare earth magnets do. But I have these 1/8th of an inch thick steel disks, and it pulls on them extremely hard. So maybe it has something to do with the depth of the metal and the way these magnets are polarized. I am a lot happier now than I was 3 hours ago.___________________________________________There is absolutely no way these things are honestly rated at 140 lbs. I have magnets rated half that, which are twice as strong.
