Small font size for instructions. Also, for some silly reason, step 7 inaccurately marks the second half. It wasn't until I figured out how the two halves fit together that I realized that the engraved side indicators were reversed relative to each other and the actual dot of the second indicator was too small for me to catch before folding. Why?! I was damn close to ripping the folds because I didn't fold them properly! The inner center hinge came loose because it was impossible not to move it. "Paint" is basically the quality of early laser printers. (Quality 240p) But for the money I don't expect a translucent color like other similar pieces. All in all a nice kit. I just hope that the battleship models I've seen aren't so flimsy and don't contain a convoluted stage that almost led to total destruction.
