Review on πŸ’‘ eSenlite Ceiling Wall Mount Radar Motion Activated LED Light Fixture – Powerful 900lm, Dusk to Dawn Capability for Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Lighting Applications by Timothy Cox

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great little device, good price. Will not disappoint!

My son refused to turn off the bathroom light (says he forgot) but electricity is prohibitively expensive here in Jamaica (virtually everything comes from imported oil) so I had to do something to try to reduce control. Last week I (in 15 minutes myself and I'm only a moderately techie) replaced an existing wall light (3 LED bulbs of 12w each) with this brilliant light and am so happy. I'm using a third of the electricity and the light output (light intensity) seems to be at least twice as bright now! Another thing I'm glad about is that it's rated for 50/60Hz 120V electricity and I always choose these lights because we use 50Hz in Jamaica as opposed to 60Hz in the US. Legacy of 350 years of British colonial rule. Maybe it doesn't matter on all devices, but I sleep better at night knowing this :) It looks more functional than decorative (ie it looks VERY plain), but for the purpose and price, I really don't mind. I wouldn't put it in the guest bathroom :) Initially, one of the problems was that its sensor could "see" through the wooden door to the bathroom, so when passing by in the hallway outside, the light would sometimes come on if it was set to maximum sensitivity. However, this was easily remedied by lowering the sensitivity to 2 out of 3. I like being able to adjust all functions with micro switches. not english! It would be great to post more details somewhere on the site. For example, I see several adjustment screws on the device, but no information on how to use them or what they control. But maybe it's for my own good :) I plan on getting at least two more!
