I love this lamp. I really want another one for my laundry room. It works exactly as it should. I go into my closet and the light comes on. The light is bright but not too bright. I was afraid when I received it because it is quite small but gives a lot of light for such a small lamp. No more forgetting to turn off the light. (seriously, one of my biggest favorite peas that I can't seem to let go of). If you can't change your partner's habits, solve the problem with this light. It's worth it.

We installed it on the side wall next to the 8ft ceiling (white) in a darker hallway. This light works great. But it's so bright, like the sun is shining on you. Overkill for sure - terrible at night when you get up to go to the bathroom. You'll have to buy dimmer stickers and put more than half the LEDs on to bring this down to a more human level. A very high ceiling where you don't have to wake up and suffer, maybe that's normal. But it's like a powerful spotlight turning on and blinding you.

I was hoping to replace a wired ceiling light in my main hall closet. The product description says "Especially for lighting small areas such as garages, warehouses, workrooms, toilets, corridor stairs, toilets, corridor corners etc." Unfortunately, the sensor is highly sensitive and can detect movements through drywall and solid wood doors.
