Review on GM Genuine Parts 22781131 Alternator: Reliable and High-Quality Replacement Component by Fred Meeks

I have a 2007 GMC 2500HD with dual alternators, Allison, crew seats, 4x4. OK, let me come back. The dealer removed certain equipment from the truck before selling it to me and at one point had TWO alternators. Now he only has one. It works fine until the alternator bearing is dead. Revain says this will NOT fit my truck but it does! Revain is reasonably priced and available now. Delivery two days? Yes I am! The alternator fits, albeit tightly, and all the connectors and wires go where they're supposed to. This is really good news. The bad news is that Revain is packaging them like yesterday's trash. Mine arrived with a damaged pulley as someone dropped the packaging during shipping. Photos are attached for your enjoyment. So I am giving this product 5 stars with 1 star for the packaging to give the final 4 star rating.
