I was very impressed with the VAVA 4K projection image on a bare wall, so I had high hopes and was looking forward to this screen. I thought that with the screen on I could see the colors the same or better. Apparently this was not the case. I've done a lot of research and read a lot of reviews about ALR/CLR screens. I thought it might be a good choice. This isn't the most expensive or cheapest type of screen. It's in the middle and a good description in this price range. I was disappointed that the color was dull, much worse than the color I had on a bare wall the week before I got this screen. Very disappointed with the color (I checked the "color" setting and there's nothing wrong with that, so it's a screen issue in this case, not a VAVA projector issue). The installation was painful and terrible, not as described in the manual or on YouTube. video, it was much more difficult. The screen was flat/wrinkle-free after assembly, but after I hung it up, there were some creases in the bottom left corner. Also, when we tried to hang the screen up, the middle pull rod fell to the floor and scratched the back of the screen a bit. There were no screws or hooks to hold this bar in place. It was inserted correctly and straight at a 90 degree angle and the tension wasn't tight enough. Measuring the exact 4 points for the hooks was difficult. The company had to include some simple measurements of the strip of paper between one hook and the others, both vertically and horizontally. I measured the size of the projection on the wall before hanging the screen, so fitting the image on the screen wasn't a problem. So just disappointed with the color and build/configuration process. (After going through so much time and effort I can't think of putting it all back in the box to return! So I'll stick with this one I guess!) Sorry I have the "before" -Photos not taken of this Cine Gray screen to illustrate the 'before' and 'after' with overhead lights on and off. I can look normally if I turn off all the lights. It's no good if some ambient light or overhead light is on.
