This spoon comes in a handsome cotton-lined gift box worthy of a diamond necklace. Inside this box is a heavy cobalt blue velvet pouch so luxurious you would expect the Hope Diamond to come out. The problem is, when you reach into your pocket, you can't find the diamond necklace. You won't even find a pretty bracelet. You will find a cookie dough ball. So here's my advice, if you're trying to figure out how well a cookie ball fits in your left nostril (or maybe another even less roomy opening), please don't use the luxury packaging as an excuse to buy these cookies. Attention dinner cooks. This is probably the highest quality kitchen appliance I have ever bought. This is heavy stainless steel. The ratchet is far superior to any curved spring blade. It washes like a dream in the dishwasher. And you get the perfect cookie every time. My suggestion is to buy one for yourself, get rid of the inexplicably extravagant packaging, make yourself a bunch of cookies, and then eat each one before the person who doesn't make dinner gets home.
